The Ellipticum loudspeakers deliver music in a way that is incompatible with their scale. They are capable of extraordinary detail and dynamics, but never lose track of the goal: respect for the art, pleasure and emotion for the listener.

They are a very sensitive, easy to drive loudspeaker, designed for real rooms. They have a pure dipole topology, controlled and matched directivity and adjustable correction for the low frequencies. At the same time, they are the traditional loudspeakers you expect, as all the complexity is tucked away. You can use your amplifier knowing it will be the happiest it has ever been.

The drivers represent state of the art customized offerings from European constructors, employing incredibly low tolerance voice coil construction, innovative transducer materials and FEA optimized structures. Integration between the 8” mid coupler driver and the horned AMT driver is done by a phase aligned, low order crossover, where each component was selected and matched, resulting in extremely accurate, relentlessly articulate and musical tonal reproduction. The custom biradial horn allows the AMT driver to cover beyond 5 octaves ensuring the soundstage is natural sized and deep, with superior imaging. The 12” driver, active bellow 150 Hz, enable the lowest octaves to come out in any room, with maximum dynamics and sublime effortless natural texture.
Preserving the characteristics of your system, the signal delivered to the Ellipticum is corrected and reamplified by a transparent and overbuilt internal amplifier, only for the lowest of frequencies. There is only one input: the speaker cables you always used. Your amplifiers are still driving the bass, imprinting their tonal character, with signal, not power. The benefits are immense: the Ellipticum account for your room to deliver the desired response and your amplifier is free from driving the power hungry bass region, leaving even more headroom available for the mids and highs. You can effectively drive the Ellipticum with a 5W SET amplifier, across the full frequency range, preserving your preferred presentation, while simultaneously elevating it to unexplored levels. You can dial different bass preferences for different sources in your system, or to achieve bass presence for those late night, low level listening sessions. Your room deficiencies can be addressed by the powerful correction, accounting for resonances, asymmetries in your space and your personal taste.
The default finish combines a horn in any RAAL color, with any type of paint with wood veneer panels, hand oiled and waxed. Alternatively the panels can also be made to any color and finish type. The massive solid hand brushed aluminum pieces are also hand waxed to preserve their original finish, similarly to the custom brass feet.
