cinnamon Galle network transport

The Cinnamon Galle DAC deserves a good companion, a soul that shares its desire for simplicity and ultimate musical enjoyment.

The Galle Network Transport. We further refined the original Galle Digital to Digital Network Transport, focusing on the quality of the user experience and ultimate noise rejection on optimized outputs. We keep the vision of having an uncompromised and versatile transport, supporting local, networked and streamed media. Perfect power delivery, high-performance silicone and customized operating system. A silent machine, dedicated to one thing only: get your music data to your DAC in the best way possible.

The transport provides native input connectivity from your USB connected storage, NAS and other local sources. It is a high performance optimized Roon Core server and exposes UPnP connectivity, enabling all streaming services like Tidal and Qobuz.

The Galle line renounces the banality of contemporary component design, instead choosing to carve a singular language. With Industrial design by the architects and designers of IM Collective, the minimalist and intemporal chassis is hand finished solid sand cast aluminum and bronze. The surface is hand waxed with a polycrystalline compound that prevents staining and corrosion. The massive metal body effectively shields the inside from the noisy outside environment. In conjunction with the Galle DAC, the result is a gaze magnet: a set of components that simply exist to provide you with music. No buttons, no screens, no color coded blinking LEDs. Just unbounded living texture, provided by Hephaestus himself.

  • One of the three tenets of the Galle Network Transport is power management. Our integrated GAN-based power supply is dense, incredibly regulated and clean. This means all downstream components and their own power stages are free to operate at ease, right in their sweet spot.

  • The software layer is responsible for keeping the signal intact from input to output. Options include Using the Galle Network Transport as a Roon Core, UpnP client, and other popular options. Our custom OS layer is aggressively optimized to ensure these players have exclusive and direct access to hardware resources, imposing options that default and generalist configurations just miss. It is also built for reliability and maintainability. Fully silent updates allow us to keep up with external software changes and updates (like from Roon), and add new sources as they come along.

  • Power, software and hardware work as one to provide a relentlessly energetic, detailed and emotionally charged presentation. Under the hood, our layered approach (power, processing layer, software rendering and output section) are specifically tailored so each can be the best at what they do. Our USB audio output operates on an isolated environment. It has massive broadband input from the main render board, sports SOTA clocks right next to the chips that need them, and a separate power line.
